The Leitrim Organic Farmers Community Meitheal meets every Friday at our Community Garden in Drumkeeran, Co. Leitrim.
Whether you’re an experienced grower, curious beginner, or passionate about organic food, you’re welcome to join us in this hands-on, welcoming environment.
What we do together:
- Planting, watering, and harvesting seasonal crops
- Sharing knowledge about organic growing and improving soil health
- Building connections with fellow food-lovers, eco-enthusiasts, and local growers
- A little bit of work, a lot of camaraderie and usually a cup of tea in the polytunnel!
Every Friday, all are welcome. This initiative is part of Talamh Beo’s EIP Project, a collaborative cooperative group of farmers, scientists, and food advocates working together to improve nutritional food security on the island of Ireland , quite literally, from the ground up.
